Kindle Fire HD has 2 versions. One is with 8.9 inch ISP screen, which is larger than the original Kindle Fire screen that was only 7.1 inches. However, they later reported that the Kindle Fire HD will also be available with 7″ sized screen as the first generation. This means that there are multiple sizes of the Kindle Fire HD, allowing you to choose the one that best fits your budget at $199 and $299.

Both Kindle’s have their similarities, but the Kindle Paperwhite is more modified and technologically advanced inside the e-reading world.

Besides the black and white to color contrast, the Kindle Fire is able to play movies, television, games, songs, and is practically another tablet device. But why spend more money on an e-reader that’s more concerned with distractions than books? Sure the Kindle Fire is fancy, but is it really that much better? The battery life is able to last for eight hours, and there is a little more storage space. The Fire weighs more and has a 7″ screen. Deciding between a Kindle Paperwhite and a Kindle Fire really comes down to preference. And while the Fire certainly is entertaining, the Kindle Touch is built for readers.

As everyone’s dream, Kindle should have glow-light as NOOK Touch Glow Light. People love reading in dark as a habit; I read on my bed before going to sleep too.

Also Kindle lovers expect to have better contrast and screen to read. E-ink screen has been around for a few years; I hope the new Kindle comes with better E-ink technology.

No doubt Back-light is on everyone’s wish-list. Why would you need to get a Kindle Reading Light anymore?

Kindle Touch 2 Price

Cnet suggested that Barnes & Noble’s Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight, which has been on the market for a couple of months, sells for $139. Amazon is expected to introduce a new Kindle Touch that offers an integrated light at a lower price point. It may also add lighting to the entry-level Kindle.

I wish the new Kindle Touch would keep the hot price as $99-ish and beat the NOOK Touch with GlowLight. People has been waiting for Kindle GlowLight version.

Kindle Touch 2 Naming

Not only that, will Amazon name it as Kindle Touch 2? As Apple iPad 2 after iPad? Or just call it New Kindle Touch as Apple new iPad?

How about Kindle Light or Kindle Glowlight? Or even Kindle Flash?

In summary, this is my wish-list for Kindle 5:

• Cozy Look and Feel comparing to the first gen Kindle Fire. I expect to have something look unique and special as the 1st Apple iPad. We as end users love WOW factor.
• Backlight Support on E-ink Screen as NOOK Touch
• Lower price as $59 or $69 for entry level
• Better Keyboard; I kind of miss the physical keyboard on Kindle 3.
• Pre-loaded some Best Seller Kindle Books. How nice would it be if it comes with hot-selling books and I could load and read out of the box.

For Kindle Fire 2 (Next Generation), I wish it would come with

• 10 inch LCD screen. I love reading on big screen.
• Faster CPU as expected. Quad or Dual Core CPU is a must-have
• HDMI Video Output; so I could play the streaming video or Pictures on my HD TV in the living room
• USB port; so I could connect and store files with my external hard-drive
• Front and Rear Camera; I hope I could take pictures and do Video Conferencing with my buddies

No matter you like Kindle 5 (aka Kindle Touch 2 and Kindle Fire 2) or not, it’s going to be very popular and selling like a hot pan-cake for Season 2012.
